Services Provided
- Retail & Service Business Incentive Program: Offering forgivable loans up to $50,000 ($5 per sq. ft.) for qualifying retail, restaurant, and service businesses to stimulate downtown revitalization.
- Business Attraction and Retention Support: Providing site-readiness assistance, infrastructure investment, and tailored incentives to attract new businesses and support existing ones.
- Workforce Development Partnerships: Collaborating with Luling Independent School District, Workforce Solutions Rural Capital Area, and local employers to strengthen talent pipelines and ensure a skilled workforce.
- Downtown Revitalization Initiatives: Transforming underutilized properties into productive, community-enhancing spaces to boost economic activity and community engagement.
Board of Directors
The LEDC Board of Directors meets regularly on the third Wednesday of each month at 5:30 PM at the Luling City Hall Council Chambers, located at 509 E. Crockett Street, Luling, Texas 78648. These meetings are open to the public, and community members are encouraged to attend and participate.
